UTSA LYRIC THEATRE

UTSA Lyric Theatre provides opportunities to graduates and undergradautes to hone their skills as stage performers, prepping them for a career or advanced studies through mainstage performances, touring productions, and classroom experiences. We create a secure place for students to explore, ask questions, and develop their own artistic voice through character development, scene study, the performance of non-traditional works, and meetings with industry professionals. 

In addition to the opportunities for singers, we extend offers to graduate or upper level students to serve as conductors, assistant directors, and performance/rehearsal pianists for select productions. 

In alignment with UTSA's dedication to community building and engagement, UTSA Lyric Theatre offers performances in various theatre spaces and venues across the city of San Antonio as well as in our Downtown Buena Vista Theatre and Main Campus Recital Hall.
