UTSA Arts Cube is an intimate black box-style space. Seating is limited to 50 tickets per show. 

LA VOIX HUMAINE (The Human Voice) is a forty-minute opera for soprano composed by Francis Poulenc in 1958. Based on the play by Jean Cocteau, the story follows a woman having the last phone conversation with her lover. This opera is sung in French with English supertitles.

WOMEN ON THE LINE is a one-act opera that examines important moments in American history from 1920 to 2020, with women heralding these times through a pivotal means of communication - the telephone. This production is the premiere of Wesley S. Uchiyama Penix and Jourdan Laine Howell's second opera together.
